Strategically located in Virginia, California, and Texas, PEER1 data centers are positioned on the East Coast, West Coast and in the Central United States. With multiple locations, come excellent opportunities for reliable service, minimal latency, disaster recovery, and geographic diversity. Each facility has been engineered from the ground up to provide powerful carrier connections and ensure that a 99.999% uptime guarantee is met.
Datacenter Features
Regulated Climate Control
The data centers' HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems are N+1 redundant. With full particle filtering and humidity control, the storage temperatures are maintained at a cool 72 degrees to ensure an ideal performance environment for your server.
Power Systems
Peer1 is not reliant upon the local power grid to guarantee maximum uptime. On-site, auto-switched power generators and centralized UPS systems provide power conditioning and ensure uninterrupted data center operation. Additionally, every major component of the emergency power system is regularly serviced and tested to ensure that they will continue to function in the event of an emergency
Datacenter Security
Data centers are physically isolated from everyone but level three technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. Proximity access cards restrict entry into every datacenter and the facility is completely locked down at all times. Facilities are also under video surveillance and monitored 24x7x365 by NOC in Vancouver.
